My beautiful friend and fellow Fort Collins photographer over at KJean Photography graciously asked me to photograph her baby bump not too long ago. She was going to use the printed images at her bridal shower and as a photographer herself, she knows how important it is to document everything in life.
I just love them and I love her.
She photographs so beautifully. What’s funny about photographers is that we’re very comfortable behind the camera… not so much in front. This girl though, she kills it!
I loved the location! Shooting in the rocks created such an interesting juxtaposition between her softness and the bold rock face!
Using the light instead of having it behind her really created a beautiful change!
Can we all just agree what a GODDESS this human is?!?
Another bonus to photographing other photographers is that they are always up for the non-traditional and fun. She had to do some SAFE climbing but getting the whole sky in there was something we both loved. The phrase I’ll love you to the moon and back came to mind here!
In case you’re wondering… Miss Kyla had a BOY just a couple weeks ago and momma and baby are doing great!! He’s already a little model and she couldn’t be more in love!
